3G Event recorder

The Event Recorder (ER) is an on-board data device that records data on train operation and performance for use in judicial and legal proceedings. The data is stored in non-volatile EEPROM or Flash memory that is overwritten in a continuous FIFO loop. As mentioned above, the data is intended for accident and incident investigation, but it is also used to monitor the overall condition of the train over a given period of time. The ER is also responsible for calculating the distance travelled by the train and its actual speed. SepsaMedha offers three types of event recorders to meet the different needs of our customers.
